Custom table creation

Prototype modular table
Prototype modular table

Yes, I create, build and offer (for a small fee) custom modular tables !

  • If you ever get fed up with playing wargames on a flat surface with between 5 and 7 standard pieces of scatter terrain,

  • If you want to actually play on a really nice and interesting table, to be immersed in an environment,

  • If you want modularity,

  • If you want standardised terrain that you know how it works,

  • If you want compatibility with your favourite game system and other terrain pieces,

Then just drop me a message.

So far I've made a few custom tables. You tell me what you want and I'll build it for you.

The basic build is 4 plaques, 60cm x 60cm. Being in Europe everything is in centimetres, and in the shops these boards are 125cm x 60cm, so it's really difficult to make them 48" x 48".

You can have more than 4 plaques of course, more plaques means a bigger table or more modular possibilities.

The board is modular, so the edges of the plaques have to have something in common, like a hill or river, the more things in common the better.

The basic plaques are a hill in one corner, and a river that goes from the centre of one edge to the centre of an adjacent edge. But it doesn't have to be like that, plaques can have a hill in opposing corners, or along a whole edge, it could have 3 or 4 river edges.

There's a whole catalogue of different possibilities that I send out to help people tell me how they want their table.

Any colour, any style is possible. I've done a gloomy cold tundra, a dirty swamp style even a beach (with real sand and shells from the beach) So far no one has asked for a martian / red earth, not even a yellow desert.

It's best to hand these over in person of course, but they ship fine so far, la poste does a good job and gets them delivered quickly. I would be very uncertain about shipping them abroad however.
